Even military ministers have no more than a certain amount of control. It is customary that they have the right and the power to participate, from a political and military point of view, in the planning of actual operations.

General Introduction:
        Hideki Tojo was elected Prime Minister of Japan in 1941. Toko was well liked by most and was a very eloquent speaker.  Although Tojo had done many things, he is most well known for signing off on the attack on Pearl Harbor. After World War II, Hideki Tojo, whom had now resigned from office, was charged with war crimes by the United States. After his failed suicide attempt, Tojo was executed in December, 1948.
        Interestingly, Tojo was not a dictator like Mussolini or Hitler. In addition, He was appointed the prime minister since he graduated at the top of his class from a military college and he was a victorious army general. Want to learn more about Tojo's early life? Go ahead! (*^__^*)
